Quietly developing in a hidden valley, tucked away high amongst the rolling hills of Barossa’s Eden Valley. Only produced in select years, this was another dry vintage with low yields and high natural acidity and a citrus zest

typical of the region in great years. An intensely fragrant example, with a refreshingly crisp palate of lime sorbet and grapefruit.

Earth & Vine

These grapes were grown by neighbour, friend and prominent Eden Valley Vigneron Mark Bartholomaeus amongst rolling hills and gums trees in Barossa's high country of Eden Valley.

The season was mild but with low rainfall, relying on the deep roots of the 60 year old vines to maintain condition. The cool summer slowed down ripening, allowing us to pick on the perfect autumn day with naturally high acidity.

From Vine to Wine

The grapes were picked on a cool evening, they were immediately driven down the road, where they were gently whole-bunch pressed by Scott and Bec Careful logistics meant minimal transfers, bottling straight from the tank to minimise O2 and preserve aromas.
